We have seen how easy it is zip and unzip with 7-Zip above, now let's see the security offered by the program. Choose a file or folder you want to compress, press the right button and select "Add to archive ..." as we see in the image

Once selected option "Add file ..." see the following window, where we can define the desired password and encrypt the file names

file encryption is used to hide the names of the files, suppose we want to compress a folder with a series of files within and assign a password.
